Want to highlight the button upon selection

Hi,

In my webpage i have 5buttons on right side and arrows is pointing down and if i click on them left side some content is displaying until the content is there the button needs to highlight and arrow show left.......for corresponding content corresponding button needs to highlight until i click next button.

i worked on it but iam able to change only background color.

appreciate for help.

If background color is not enough for you, what do you need to show highlighting?

I need only the font and arrow to be highlighted.

Solution 1

If background color is not enough for you, use custom button images instead of standard buttons. Use the <img> tag and modify its src in response to its events using several pre-created images for each button state; see http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_img.asp[^].
