What is the meaning of 'To be filled by O.E.M.'?

Apparently the field you requested is to be filled by Original Equipment Manufactorer (OEM), but for some reason it was left untouched

Is that a problem? You cannot set your MB Serial number, at least not that easy - it is not programmable without specific hardware. But there must be other fields that are filled and you could use them (I assume that's what you need - read specific unique hardware ID, no matter which one)

Not all motherboard manufacturers supply that info. There's nothing you can do about it.
