My SLi is getting very hot and I need to know if there is a proper airflow setup for my case. Currently I wield an acrylic case. Acrylic Case

My SLi's are sandwiched together and they are running 2x(9800gt's).

My board is an MSI board and I have 4 fans total with a Zalman Heatsink

Also keep in mind that my room is carpeted and that im on the Northern side of the house, window facing the north, my room walls are painted a blood red and is a bit stuffy seeing how I never clean it =P. Is there a proper airflow system I can use are there and diagrams online or is there a cooling block I can install to keep my cards from getting hot?

1) Add more fans
2) make sure your fans are working together and not against each other i.e. all air comes in the front and goes out the back
3) are all the grills etc clean
4) Go up market and watercool the gpu's
5) Go really up market and get a pumped or submersion based fluorinert system

And remember they will run hot if under load. My GTX580 is permanently roasting as it is Folding 24/7.

Well, the only effective way to mitigate the heat problem is to a) add airflow, and/or b) get a bigger case. I personally have never understood the need for people to bling their desktop computer cases. Nobody you love really cares (and essentially nod their heads and give you false platitudes, and then, when out of earshot, proclaim your insanity in subdued whispers to unseen secret friends).

I recommend a larger case - MountainMods makes an 18-inch cube case that provides for an obscene number of 120mm fans, and essentially divides the case into two sections, with the drives on the backside of the removable motherboard tray, insulating the board from heat created by rotating drives. This will alleviate some of your heat problem. I have one of these cases, and it's great (if not a little on the pricey side).

I watercooled my box at one time, but ripped all that gear out when it sprung the inevitable leak. It really isn't worth the expense.
