soltaru pa durai..

What does that mean?

Instead, I'll better answer accordingly:
Не веди себя как скотина, и люди будут относиться к тебе по-человечески.

Hope it's easier to translate, to those who did not understand it but want to know what is it. :-)

I believe this does not apply to me. I behave like one, but the wife keeps on telling me that I'm a tiger.

Correct answer, my 5. I decided to answer to the point, please see. The case if kind of interesting, pretty characteristic though -- I put a link to the discussion that sparked all that.

It is not your English; it's your manners of communication and extreme impoliteness. I can see, you can use English well enough, but by some reason you've chosen to communicate in inaccurate, sloppy and impolite manner. You also have been unjust and negative to people trying to help you; you refused their help and the whole idea to improve based on criticism. Such attitude cannot help to learn anything.

For those who may need confirmation to my words, please see the comments to this question: AL.exe was not found[^].

If you don't like being insulted, don't insult others. This is that simple.

"If you don't like being insulted, don't insult others."

Eventhough this is a more than obvious observation, it is still a fundamental truth!

Wie man in den Wald hineinruft, so schallt es heraus![^]

Old german proverb - Source unknown
PS: I posted the link to the german wiki page as it offers links to analogous proverbs in several other languages.

Thank you for understanding, Manfred.

I haven't heard that quote in a long, long while My dad used to quote that one a lot.

The English version is used quite often (in my life at least); but then both our languages have much in common.
Out of 13 questions you received 12 very sensible and useful answers. But just because someone criticised you for writing like a 5 year old in one question, you behave like that 5 year old and demand to have your ball back. If you cannot accept a little constructive criticism from time to time you are going to have a very unhappy life.

Sad but true. Agree, my 5.

Thank you. As you, I and many others know, this is one of life's harsh realities.
