Do you mean analyzing the query execution plan. If so, you can use Management studio to investigate executoin plan: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms191227.aspx[^].

If you mean recording a workload, you can use Profiler for that: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms187929.aspx[^] and then use the trace file for database analysis.
