Hi All,

HttpHandler is a built in software which is in the form of ISAPI(Interner server Application Programming Interface) inside the IIS(Internet Information services) .Responsibility of HttpHandler is sends the aspx page request to corresponding asp.net Application (AppDomain) that handles the request which is resided iside the IIS workerProcess.

No, HttpHandler[^] is an ASP.NET feature that allows you to write code to handle requests with a specific extension. At the IIS level, you have something called an ISAPI filter[^].
