Hi all ,

I have a simple question : is wcf the same as webservice ?

Thanks in advance.

You missed. :-) Nothing in common, I would say.

Please learn about each separately:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webservice[^],
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Communication_Foundation[^].

I should suggest you not using a guesswork as a learning tool. There are better methods. Even this way of asking questions is not effective: it's much better not to base your question on assumptions.

Best,

Sure, a 5; only it should be noted that first link is about a subset of Web Services -- ASP.NET Web services.
