Menu position differs according to window size ?

Hi all ,

I recently made a menu and placed it using the position and offset of jquery.It is working fine when full screen,but when i resize the window of the browser the position of the menu is not correct and it is being placed not under its parent.So how can i fix the position even if the size of browser window differs ?
