Syntax Highlighter/ making an IDE for my own language in Java

I would like to ask if anyone can give me some help on how to make the editor for the IDE we are trying to develop.
The IDE we are developing is only limited to the language we made and need help in making the ide, i've been searching for a long while in the internet and can't find any, so anyone help me make our ide.

We plan to incorporate a scanner generated by jflex into the editor to color keywords and specific tokens

pls someone help
