regarding HTTP webrequest and HTTP webresponse class(simply file transfer between server and client)

Here , I'm doing one client - server application in c#.NET. That's job is , suppose we have 3 client users and server can assign file to one of those users then client user can download that assigned file .
i have written all those things in sockets concepts only, Now i must write using HTTP protocol with Apache tomcat web server . please help me to find out.
