How to automate a page from IIS 6?

Hi Sir

I have a dedicated server running IIS6.0.
We have a website running in it using .NET 2.0 (ASP.net & C#)
I want to know how we can automate and send a mail from a webpage on a daily basis at a specified time.

Has anyone done this before.
If so,Please share the information

Solution 1

Your best bet to do this is to run a service on your server computer, I believe. ASP.NET generates pages on demand, it has no code running to check or run a timer.
