Can I use Visual studio 2008 for developing Android applications? I heard that Visual Studio 2010 supports Andoid.I am familiar with C# coding and Visual studio 2008. So please help me...

Most of the links I found suggested Monodroid[^] for developing Android applications in C#.

However, its by design that Android apps are to be written in Java[^] language so why not use Eclipse or NetBeans for it?
