Sql Server Connection Pb

Hi,

I have three server connection like 10.100.100.2 and 10.100.100.3 and 10.100.100.4
10.100.100.2 and 3 are added sp_addlinkedserver by 10.100.100.4...
The select query of 10.100.100.4 from 10.100.100.2 working...but in the same select query is not working..Error msg shown as "Login failed for sa"

Please do the needful..

As the error message says "Login failed for sa" I would check that the password for SA is correct

Solution 1

Your login is incorrect. The security setup on the SQL server in question is different from all the others. If the query is supposed to work on all the servers the same then you will need to see to it that the security gets straightened out.
