data uploading to the web server related issues

Dear Sir,

I have developed a project in aspx and backend is MSSQL Server 2005(It is working fine in L A N).Now i want to upload some data from this intranet application to the web server on a button click event(It means i want a button on a web page ,after clicking this button i want to upload some specific fields of data uploaded to web server).

Pls give me some suggetions to solve this issue.
Really it would be life saving suggetion.

But i want is that on button click event some code should be there for which is responsible for uploading this data to the web server.
