Running Windows Application as a Service on Windows 2008

This open source code is something we have been looking for.
We are trying to run a windows application as a service but have the usual problem when the session in RDP is closed down the application closes down
Can anyone confirm if this XYNTService works on Windows 2008/R2 32 or 64 bit?

Solution 1

You cannot run a regular Windows application as Windows Service, unless you create a special dual-mode application design.
