To load the xml document fastly in background in wp7

I am working on sample application called ebook reader where ebook is in the format of xml.
When i am loading a file it is taking too much time for loading...and hanging the UI of windows phone 7.
Can any one help me for loading the xml document in background fastly without hanging the UI for loading all the pages.
