Any idea how i can get a hold of yesterday or the day before's daily insider? My company's gestapo-esque mail admin has recently blocked codeproject... since about friday. I have just changed my recipient email address but i would like to receive older versions that i missed.

....

Why on god's green earth is it so difficult to post a question?WE?WEQ?#$@#Q$?WRW$?QRW$?A

Hi, Stark! Please post this in the Site Bugs & Suggestions forum. That is the place to ask questions about this site.
Thanks for your cooperation!

Hi, Start! What, you company administration is not just gestapo but also idiotic? Software development cracked down. I don't know your situation but I would ask them to fix it and report this ban to management if they disagree to cooperate (at least it you're officially a software developer).

SAKryukov... we are currently between administrators and some other political nonsense until we move to our next building end of the month... either way, i put in my new email address so i should be receiving all newsletters henceforth...but i'd like to see what i missed.

Understand it. For a short period of time I worked in the situation in a big company when they decided to limit Web access. But they did not touch programming sites, only porn, "advocate groups", something else. Still was not good enough even for work. I quickly built a small re-director and put it in my personal site. Later on I was about to leave the company and just asked to remove any limitations for me. When later they invited me to consult them, all that nonsense was removed. This is plain stupid, never helps anything. If workers are not interested in work they won't work no matter what.

Manfred....erm.... these ARE questions about the site.

1 solution

1) If you have missed the news or can't receive them, then take a look at the menu and select 'home'. There you can select a tab which also shows the dayly news and provides a link to see more. Also (in the menu as well), there is the item 'Features' which may also be of interest.

2) I don't know. Granted, all that typing is hard work, but it never stressed me too much when the question eas important to me :)

1. I found a News link, but its not the newsletter. I want the newsletter!!! :(

2. I'm pretty sure useability is quite important and "not stressing about it when its important" is not and industry standard accepted excuse. But thanks for the reply :)

Seriously, look up into the menu under 'Features'. The menu items 'News', 'Daily Insider' and 'Newsletter archive' should help.

Thanks for that tip! Definitely useful. :)

Thanks CDP, but the Daily Insider only gives me "You are subscribed! The Insider will be sent to your inbox each day." Along with an image. No actual Insider. The Newsletter Archive does indeed display archived newsletters but not the Insider. So in the words of U2: I still havent found what i'm looking for.
