Hi,

I have an icon which is associated with a file type. It's just a data file used expilicitly by my application.

The icon associated with my data file appears too small, e.g. 16 x 16 and so is small with a white border making it almost impossible to view. I need to change the icon to display the same icon used by my application.

I have already editted all of my icons to remove the 16x16 element, but still the icon drawn is small.

Any ideas how I can specify which icon my data file should display?

I'm using VS2003.

TIA

Tony

Try the IShellLink::SetIconLocation()[^] function.
