how to attach an .rar file in mail using MFC...my doubt is when i click browse button browse window appears but the file is not attaching ,, how to do it.. pls help me .. its urgent

Did you follow the link to the MSDN Mapi example in MFC? There is complete code on how to send an email with an attachment. You'll find this link in the solution I linkes to in my answer.
