Solution 1

You have to add an installer project in the window services solution, and then you have two ways to install it:

0) Use the InstallUtil.exe utility fromvided with the .Net framework

1) Make the service self-installing where you run the exe and it installs itself.

You can use google to find out more about each technique.

My 5, I prefer #1. As the question is about Vista: elevated privilege with be required at the moment of installation or uninstallation.
