Simple Chat Box without ajax.

I am develpoing a social networking website. and it is almost at its last time, but today my professors had told me to add Chat Box in my website.
I have read my project articles and downloaded codes, but i am finding it real difficult to apply in my project as i am not able to understand the flow of code.

i want to use the "simplest chat box just for conversion in groups" which is connected with database only to get the session user name and the whole chating should be done without database.

any type of help will be appreciated.
Any Help for the Simplest Chat box without much confusing coding.

Not using Ajax would make this specific application especially ugly. Why such a strange requirement: without Ajax?

If you already have some codebase and you are facing difficulty understanding it then I am not sure how or what kind of help are you expecting from us here?

Any simple chat link that you can pluglin without understanding?

Sandeep, you're right!

Is someone does not understand something it's much more adequate to ask for an advice without mixing the question with partial suggested solution. "Not using Ajax" is more of a technical decision and not part of the ultimate goal of the work in question. In principle, it could be even a requirement (to cover also the users who switches off the Javascript), but OP did not say so.

Sandeep, do you agree with me that using Ajax for this particular application is extremely helpful and not using it can only makes problems more difficult?

Totally agree. Ajax Async calls is the way here. :)
