how to insert item in list control using MFC

hi,
i want to change the colour of list box as well as to insert item , i used ownwer draw to change the colour but the inserted item is not displaying, if i remove the ownerdraw the colour is not changing but the inserted item is displaying... i want both how to change it,, pls help me

Solution 1

If you have owner draw set then you have to provide all the information needed by the control. Take a look here[^] at the section on Virtual List-View styles.
