usability of log4net in a compact framework 3.5 project

I have downloaded log4net and found that it contains dll only for compact framework 1.0.I would like to know if this dll can be used for a compact framerok 3.5 project.

I guess not. Look here for .NET Framework supported by log4Net:

It says: log4net now builds on 6 frameworks:

1. Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0 (1.0.3705)
