There are't Phone Line,Aux Volume,Video Volume,Line In,CD Aduio?

I want to control the line of the WaveIn but there are some problems.

There are Phone line, Aux Volume and so on in my VMware. The system of my VMware is XP SP2. In this Vmware, my functions work well, but don't work well in my PC with Win7 64bit System.

PC Audio Card is Nvidia GT218 HD Audio Controller. I doubt that the HD audio doesn't have the Phone line, Aux Volume and so on, but the AC 97 audio has.

Can anyone help me?

AC 97 is the onboard audio I believe. I have no idea about other audio cards but are you trying to look at sound settings or is there some problem with your application or code? Had to ask since you tagged your question as C++ and the only thing related somewhat to coding in your question is the word "Functions".

Points:
Window 7 doesn't use AC 97.
AC97 supports expanding audio technology,variety of sampling rate.so it has Phone Line,Line In,Aux out etc.
HD card representative sampling frequency,the higher the frequency,time interval is shorter.
AC 97 representative sampling accuracy,digits more.They have different concept.
