Hi All,

Good evening. In my windows application, I have a crystal report. I want to show datadase table in report. The problem is there is not enough space to show all the database fields properly. If you know how to do this please help me.

Thank you in advance.

Well, it looks like you need to go back to your design board.
1. How many fields do you want to show?
2. What is your field sizes?
3. What page orientation do you want to support ( is landscape appropriate )?
4. How do you want to handle the data if given field is not sufficient? Is text wrapping appropriate?
5. Can you eliminate some of the fields? Is there any redundancy in the fields shown?

The list goes on and on... The answer to such questions will help you solve the problem.

Not much of information, but let me suggest couple of things that you can try out:
1. Use landscape mode instead of potrait mode to show data in your report. This would give you additional space for more columns
2. If 1, does not help completely then you need to use small fonts to fit in (i.e. reduce the font size). (obviously within readable/acceptable limits!)

If after 1 & 2, you are still short of space then you have to trim down the columns to needed one. May be try a drilldown report.
