I am developing web application using the Asp.net Membership feature. It is very greate. But I have little Doubt related to security of membership database.

Is Using Membership in asp.net Secured or Not?

Solution 1

The asp.net Membership provider default settings are the most secure, but any system is only as secure as you make it.

You need to ensure the weakest links are secured including configuration files, connection strings, encryption keys as well as locking down IIS and SQL.

Not really, your question needs to be more specific. If you have a door with many locks, is your house secure or not? If you leave a window open, is your house secure or not?
