Report header and report footer

Hi,
I can see hos to add page header and page footers.
Is there any way to add report header and report footer?
Actuallly I want display some info that comes at the top only, in report header
while page header will contain info that comes on every page.

Solution 1

No, there is no Report header concept in SSRS unlike Crystal Reports.

There can be a work around though (but only if you are not using PageHeader - remove Report header completely). Try putting a rectangle with needed header in it and keep it at the top.

Thus, you have a header on page one and not all.

Looks like you missed what I said about Report header.

Concept of 'Report header' is *not* there in SSRS. Though you can have a workaround to have *similar* look alike, the way I suggested.

Dear Sir,
You are absolutely correct but I have experienced some problem with this.
Consider a situation, where you want to make an invocie, in Report header you want to write company details, and this appears once only. Then in page header, that is repeated on every page, you put Invoice No. Date and Order No.
Then page no. should come on the footer of every page and some kind of declaration at the end of report ONLY.
I donot think we can do this if we donot have Report header /Footer.
Am I right?
