Hey, anyone knows where to find .bin files for ubuntu?
I want site names which provides different .bin application, so that I can download it.

Are you asking for the website where you can find the installable .bin files for ubuntu?
It's not at all programming question then. And most softwares provide installation for Linux if it is supported.

Ununtu is based on .deb packages. Do you need those?

Oh. Ubuntu.com!
This is not how it works. When you load Ubuntu, it is connected to Ubuntu site when you go to Administration of installations, that's all. Whole word of Linux is presented via Ubuntu site via your local Ubuntu system.
It looks like you have Windows imprinting, no? Ubuntu is different...

Oh, you did not know... package manager takes care of everything. There are different front ends, for UI and console. You do refresh, update, upgrade, look for all available packages by query and a lot more. RTFM. Also, if it's client Ubuntu (Gnome, KDE) -- go to Administraion and the Help -- will be apparent...

ya you are right but i haven't got any internet connection....therefore install all the software using .deb packages

You did not give me that vote. It's only "1". And it's not my fault Ubuntu does not work as you expected.

No matter. You should have explained from the very beginning about your friend with no internet connection. It works like this: you should have internet connection on this or another system, than install what you want, and generate synchronization CD which will perform installation on another machine.
