Tweak CMFCVisualManager to alter hidden panes appearance

Hello there!

I have a MFC 10 MDI application (w/ Feature Pack). It's default look is a Office-like theme, which needs a little tweak: an hidden pane should always display its label, an effect which is present in Visual Studio-like themes but not in Office-like ones.

I'm looking for help, suggestions or links (googled - didn't help X| ) to work on CMFCVisualManager class (and its subclasses) to achieve the aformentioned goal.

Of course, suggestions about alternative courses of action are greatly appreciated as well. :doh:

Solution 1

Just add the following line:

CMFCAutoHideButton::m_bOverlappingTabs = FALSE;

at the end of your CMainFrame::OnCreate(..) :)
