Hi,

Please let me know if there is JAVA COM BRIDGE (JACOB) equivalent for Linux. I am using activeX Components for accessing word and creation of Pdf's.

However, if this i want to do it on Linux Box, is there any way?

Thanks,
Hersh

Not providing an answer, I would say the solution is very unlikely. COM is and ActiveX are pretty much unwelcome at Linux, for quite a good reason. If you devoted effort based on JACOB in the past, you set up a trap for yourself -- you should have realized that COM and ActiveX would later go nowhere. What's done is done, but I'm afraid one of your real alternatives would be abandoning JACOB-based work -- sorry.
