hi, i am trying to send and receive SMS from mobile to PC and to use that message to control electrical devices and i am not familiar about serial communication please help me regarding reading the message from mobile to PC.

Solution 1

Hello,

Check the AT commands. Send the "AT" command to the serial line and try to read the response. If it is "OK" - you can go on with the communications. Otherwise check the selected speed and start/stop bits of the communication line.

Further on follow the instructions.
