make a bin file executable

Hi,

I want to make a bin file executable in linux ubuntu but when I type "chmod" command in terminal it gives an error :command not found

Can anybody help me?

Solution 1

May your are spelled it wrong it's "chmod", not "chomd"

or

"chomd" is any exter command your using..???, if yes, that particular file in not present in your current OS.
