Adding a Button on top or bottom of Gridview(inside the gridview tags)

i am new to gridview..i want to add a button on top of gridview with wich i can edit the selected row in the gridview. can any one help..

gridview layout

|EDIT | DELETE |

chk box | ID | CUST | NAME | PHONE |

i am not sure weather i can add button(EDIT and DELETE) on top of columns inside the gridview tag....

Solution 1

You can use BindingNavigator for this purpose, I'm sure you'll love it. In addition to existed buttons you can always add your own if you chose the dropDown list on the right.
