Changing WPF canvas unit

doing drawings on WPF but the unit are in pixels and the problem is i need to draw in inches or mm. i know i can whrite the number followed by the unit ( "2 in") but i need to do it by another way.

What I have tried:

number followed by the unit but it is harder in you work witn integer and coding

You're thinking of DPI (and should be thinking of scaling).
