How to integrate C# windows app with bill acceptor

I want to integrate a bill acceptor in my c# windowds kiosk application to accept coins and cash. i dnt have any idea of it. can anybody provide me a helpfull material to integrate this functionality.

What I have tried:

Tried finding document but I'm not clear about that.

How are you going to accept the physical cash? Do you have a device that can accept money, count it, and send you some sort of transaction data?

No, we can't. You need to talk to the manufacturer of your chosen hardware, and find out from them exactly how their interface works.

Bear in mind that this is to do with real money: so you need to be very, very careful here. Certainly, accepting code from an insecure website and hoping it will work without back doors, trojans, and general fraud is probably going to be considered as negligent at best if anything goes wrong - and fraud at worst if you can be even slightly implicated.

Talk to the manufacturers - they should be able to help you directly.

Solution 2

You get a guy to accept the cash, and then enter the amount into the kiosk (with a secret password).
