Hi!
I am very new to PHP. I want to develop a basic website using PHP. What are the tools and prerequisites for the same? I do not have a server installed on my system. I just want to know what are the different tools needed for developing a basic site.

I tried installing an extension for PHP in Visual Studio 2012. But, what to do next I do not know.

You need a good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and especially PHP. Google will find you lots of sample code.
