Validate if address is within a place

I'm currently using the Google API for my Node.js app and want to know how to check if an address is in a certain place.

"48 Wall Street New York, NY" would be inside Google map limits of "Lower Manhattan, Manhattan, New York, NY"

What I have tried:

I found this
developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/poly-containsLocation

Can't find anything more relevant.
