How to deal with some some exceptions about some pattern of the hyphen dictionary of Openoffice?

hi! I have two questions about hypenation of the Openoffice.

1.there are servaral method to deal with some error hypenation in the TeX hypen system,we could add some content in the end of file about hypen dictionary.the content such as:
"\hyphenation{some words don't need hyphen}
\hyphenation{some words hyphen as my own pattern,such as 'eva-luat-ion '}
.....
"
however,in the Openoffice,how to add these rules to the file "hypen_en_US.dic" ? or some other methods to deal with these problem.

2.In the " hypen_en_US.dic" file, the contents as 'utf-8‘coding have many differents about 'ISO'coding.these patterns
