I released a program on Windows XP,but the GUI is different when it is installed in Win7, what happened to my program?

Well, if your using system drawn controls and forms then they're going to look like whatever theme the user is using. Windows Vista and 7 have that whole Aero theme going on, and some buttons and menus may look slightly different than on XP.

If you had a custom theme on your application though and it plain doesn't work on Win7, well that's a different and rather more specific problem altogether.

The GUI is controlled by the OS unless you specifically change some values in your design or code.

If you are worry about appearance of your GUI component compared to other windows the system then this will help you

Enable Visual Styles[^]

i find my project work following the proposal which recommend me use panel to control my controls.
