Hi All ... My first post so please bear with me ....

I have VS 2017 Pro 64 bit on and 64bit PC trying to publish a web app to an Azure Web Service with CR 13.0.3500.0 ... have problem after problem .. the usual set of Could not load file or assembly CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.CommLayer errors ..... I've read every single google link there is and absolutely nothing has worked for me. I have now spent over a week on this and is diving me insane !

Note, everything works fine locally. Have 32bit runtime CR installed locally as 64bit had it's own errors.

Any advice would most gratefully received. Even if it's an alternative to crystal !!! (I am using crystal as the report is customer facing and must be totally polished).

Thanks in advance !

What I have tried:

All links re changing webconfig, installing runtime remote but can't on a web service.

Are you sure you are packaging the complete deployment source, and then submitting it to Azure? This seems like you are missing a package or so, which is raising an exception.

Thanks for the pointer. I checked and yes I can see not everything is going up. It's become obvious I can't do this with a web service as there's no way of installing the run time so i've had to go to a cloud service with storage and now all working. :)
