Hi all,

Please help. I need advise on what exam to take to complete my MSCD : App Builder.

I have completed my MSCA by passing 70-483 and 70-486.

According to "https://www.microsoft.com/en-za/learning/mcsd-app-builder-certification.aspx" I need to pass one of the following exams:

70-532 : Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions
70-535 : Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions
70-487 : Developing Microsoft Azure and Web Services

The remaining exams will either retire end of July or have been retired and as such is not an option:

70-488
70-489
70-496
70-497
70-498
70-538 : Implementing Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions" exam is still in the
planning stages.

It therefore seems that I have to choose one of the three remaining exams (532,535 or 487) to complete my MSCD.

However if I go to "https://mycertificationplanner.one.microsoft.com/CertificateDetails/CertificateDetail/2945?achievementYear=2018" to have a look at my recommended path from my Dashboard, a number of other exam options are shown as part of my "requirements needed" namely

70-534 : Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions
70-354 : Universal Windows Platform - App architecture and UX/UI
70-355 : Universal Windows Platform - App Data, Services, and Coding Patterns

My question:

Does this mean that if I pass one of these "requirement needed" exams (534, 354, 355) I will get my MSCD or must I pass 532, 535 or 487?

I ask this because if I can avoid Azure and rather do 354 or 355 it would be the solution I really want. Nothing against Azure but in the company I work for Azure is blocked/banned and it limits my experience in regards to exposure. Till now I have used my own personal account at Azure to get exposure but it is costly.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

What I have tried:

Asked the same question on MSDN forums with no replies.
Used Google.
Emailed Microsoft.
Read various web sites but most info is outdated.

It is pretty clear... Look for Step 2, and pick ONE of those exams...
