Excel 2007 cell column data is displayed ####

When i am entering the data into the excel 2007 then the data is displayed as #### symbol in that cell i don't know to how to clear that and get data back.... Can anyone explain me

What I have tried:

Entering the data into excel 2007 of date value into that column. Not only date value whatever the value entered in any column it displays the same way as ####

Solution 1

Because the cell width is too small.
Select the column, do a right click and 'Column width' to change it
