How to change image color in canvas when user selects a color?

I am developing T-Shirt designing system. I draw the image using canvas. I use fillStyle for coloring but it gives static color only for the shirt image. Before using fillStyle I apply jquery that run when user clicks on the color but it only effect the canvas and not the image.

I want that the shirt change its color at the time when user clicks on a specific color. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
