Hi,

I'm having major trouble finding a way to extract the files from a pcap, mainly the wav file(s). I only have yum at my disposal to install packages, and the internet hasn't come up with anything useful. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

What I have tried:

Lifting files from a packet capture? Care to describe the reason you're doing this?

I work for a Telecoms company and need to extract the audio from our calls which work over SIP

Is that a sufficient reason to deserve help?

I'm sorry, I didn't know I was supposed to abandon my job, family, and sleep just to sit around here and wait for you to reply.

Now, the problem is what you're describing is a "man in the middle attack". Do I trust you and tell you how to do this in a public forum, where either you or someone else comes by it, uses it for malicious purposes? Do I open myself up to liability?

I don't think so.

You're the skeptical type, I see. Here's a photo of my desk: https://imgur.com/cyv64Go. Feel free to look up the company or call our support number and I can talk to you directly if you wish.
