Hi all my friends,

Are you using the DevExpress MVVM Framework product for classic windows forms development? (Not WPF). What are the limitations? Could you please help me by informing me? Would it be better? Would you recommend it?

Thank you very much,
Best Regards.

What I have tried:

I searched through many sources, but I wanted to get information from tried and experienced developers. Thanks again.

As you seem to get no answers on the DevExpress MVVM Framework, maybe you will be interested in my opinion on components from vendors that are not open source.
In the past I had a lot of trouble upgrading software where old components were used and there was no support or source code for these components available anymore.
These components were written for a certain version of the language, and did not work with newer versions.
Can't tell if DevExpress will last for ages, but I think it's better to try to write your software using standard .NET libraries and open source libraries.
If you want to write software that does not have a long lifespan, above points are not important of course !
Also I don't want to discredit DevExpress as they seem to make fine software.
