Minus the quotes, I am trying to get my destination cell to display: "1/1" where the first 1 is a cell, and the second 1 is another cell.

Here was what I tried, which doesn't work: ='Medical Equipment'!$C$38, "/", 'Medical Equipment'!$D$38

Is this possible? Trying to show how many were checked (C38), out of how many were required (D38).

What I have tried:

='Medical Equipment'!$C$38, "/", 'Medical Equipment'!$D$38 and variations with &
