Hello !

I am a film maker and besides basics of HTML (!), I don't know anything about website coding. I am a real stranger here, and looking for advice.

We now have in Belgium a government that is right wing, but more and more far right.

I have a great and simple artistic idea to spread a cool message on a single webpage, but I have no idea how to make it.

I just want to oppose videos testimonies, splitting the whole screen in two parts. (should be responsive to adapt to any screen). One video would simply play after the other automatically. BUT I also want that hovering the mouse on the inactive video makes it play, and stop the other one, and so on.

That's it!
What would be the easiest software to learn to make that simple(?) thing happen by a real newbie? Thanks a lot!

PS If you wanna know the content: the goal is to oppose video interviews of our prime minister and his own father. His father belongs to the same party and used to be very popular while spreading very human and democratic values, unlike his son.

What I have tried:

nothing, I am a total newbie :-)

By the time you have learnt how to do this the barbarians will be at the gate. If you are serious about getting a political message out to the people of your country then you should hire a professional to do the job.

It's the only form of government/society that works.
