Am new to java (and programming in general), and I want to see the source code for a program that demonstrates the whole of a
Object Oriented Program..

What I have tried:

Searched on Github but don't quite know what to look for

Type the entire subject line of your question in Google. That's all it takes.

I have already tried this.

I want a whole program and when I search all I get is fragments.. I want the source code for a whole program

Do you seriously think you're going to learn programming just by looking at the source of an app? Yeah .... no. There's a lot that goes on that is not obvious just by looking at the source code. This is stuff you're not going to learn properly.

I HIGHLY suggest going with a couple of books on Java first.

How did you arrive at the conclusion that that is what I'm doing?

Did I ask: "I want to read source code in order to learn"?.. No

I am reading a book, I am doing an online course.

I want to find an example of a whole program so I can see what I am learning in practice.

Don't leave me a bad rating and leave snarky remarks based on your own false assumptions.

Maybe you learnt to code in an institution, or maybe you learned a long time ago, but you should know that it can be very confusing to learn entirely on your own,and finding a good reference point is hard given the huge amounts of information there is out there..

I think its pretty pathetic for an experienced programmer to be so rude and dismissive to someone who just wants help.

Actually, finding good references is easy; see below.
