What should I do when I installed mongodb setup but its not running

when i run the setup file the output console screen should display a message like "waiting for the connection" but its not displaying like that i dont know whats wrong and i have no guess because im new to mongodb technology so can anybody help me with this??

Why are you trying to install from the command line? As far as I can see, the installation is a standard .MSI file, which means you just double click the file and it should load the installer for you: Install MongoDB Community Edition on Windows — MongoDB Manual 3.4[^]

Probably, the installer is waiting for you to acknowledge the UAE admin requirement, but for some reason you can't see the UAE dialog - I've had that occasionally when I am doing a few things at the same time. Try ALT + TAB to see if the UAE dialog is there anywhere.
