Unable to detect swipes using winapi

Hi All,

I am using global hooks (WH_GETMESSAGE) to locate POINTERDOWN and POINTERUP touch events. My plan is to create some touch gestures myself. But I am unable to think of a way to detect swipes. Any idea if I should change my approach? If not, can you direct me a little bit in the right direction.

What I have tried:

I was able to locate the pointer up and pointer down touch events.
